Dr. Pauley is a Lincoln native with deep family roots in the community. His great-grandfather founded Pauley Lumber Company, which served Lincoln for over a century. Inspired by his family’s tradition of small business ownership and service, Dr. Pauley is proud to carry on that legacy through dentistry.
After graduating from Lincoln East High School, Dr. Pauley attended Nebraska Wesleyan University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Since then, he has practiced at several offices throughout Lincoln and Omaha, building strong relationships with patients across the community and refining his skills with a wide range of dental techniques.
In October 2023, Dr. Pauley fulfilled a lifelong dream by purchasing Family Dental from Dr. Lance Lindenmuth. He feels truly honored to serve the Lincoln community that has shaped him.
Dr. Pauley stays active in professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, and Lincoln Dental Association, and he also supports public health initiatives through part-time work with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department Dental Clinic.
On weekends and after work, you’ll usually find Dr. Pauley diving into one of his many hands-on hobbies. He loves any project that’s meticulous and technical—if it involves twelve precise steps, careful measuring, and perfecting a technique, he’s all in.
From homebrewing beer (which, according to his wife, is about 90% cleaning equipment and only 10% brewing) to perfecting his sourdough pizza crust recipe, to trying the latest water sport out on a Nebraska lake, Dr. Pauley’s always chasing a new challenge. His latest passion is wake-foiling—a mix between wakeboarding and surfing that combines the best of both worlds.
Family is central to Dr. Pauley’s life. He met his wife, Andee, during intramural volleyball games at Nebraska Wesleyan. Today, they’re both proud to work in healthcare—Andee as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) here in Lincoln. Most evenings, you’ll find them sharing podcasts and audiobooks, or cooking dinner with friends and family. Sunday family dinners remain a cherished tradition, passed down through three generations of his family.
